Theme Thursday: Girls

I grew up in a family of three girls and a boy, so my childhood home leaned to the feminine side.
At home now, it's me and my husband and our two sons. I am, as a friend who is the mother of four sons says "a rose among thorns." So the girls in my life are not my own, but rather, my godchildren. Here they are: Abbey, Alicia, Becca, Carmelinia, Dorsey-Camila, Francesca and Katherine!

Aren't they fabulous?!

There is a garden in her eyes, where roses and white lilies flow.

She is my joy and heart's delight.

The beauty of a girl cannot be mimicked, fabricated, or created by human means, it only occurs naturally.
Pam Callaghan

Every child begins the world again...

Linking up with Cari's Theme Thursday...

  1. Allison, I have found a real gift in the family of one of my goddaughters--I'm Auntie Shannon to both the girls (now in college)-- Probably the best sign is that when I call their house, I end up talking with any one of the four. It's been a long lovely friendship of more than 20 years, and it more than makes up for the hole that biological family can be!

  2. Love the quotes! Great photos, and that strawberry one is too cute!

  3. You are so blessed to have all these beautiful Goddaughters!

  4. Wonderful pictures and I love the quotes

  5. Beautiful goddaughters! Each of them so beautiful and so unique.

  6. Wonderful pictures, Allison!
